My complaint:

On Tuesday the 7th of June 2022 at approximately 3pm, My 17 year old son was assaulted by the manager at the above location after being asked to leave. He grabbed my son around the throat leaving red marks and slapped him hard across the face. He also threw his scooter out onto the pavement causing it damage. My son also suffered redness to his right cheek. My son called the police who have made a report against the manager and it’s being investigated.

The manager and a member of staff told the police my son tried to drive the scooter at him and the manager grabbed him by the arm and threw him out. If that was the case, why is there no CCTV of the incident and why has my son received injuries consistent with his allegation to the police.. My son’s version of events is collaborated by his friend who witnessed the assault. We took my son to hospital and photographic evidence has been taken which the police will receive.

Suggested solution:

I want the CCTV viewed and I want the manager to pay damages towards the scooter. It is also unacceptable to have an owner of Kaspas, or anyone, feel free to assault children.

The police investigation regarding the assault is on going and I will not let it go. As a parent, to see my child suffer injuries after a cowardly attack by one of your franchise owners is hard to take.
