My complaint:

I received from Netties Caribbean Mobile Kitchen on 14/09/2023.

The food I ordered once open could be told immediately that it had gone off. It is not difficult to smell meat that has turned bad. It had a distinct spoilt sour smell and I gagged just opening it.

Upon requesting a refund I was told that the strong smell might just be an issue because of the cuisine it was. I am Indian myself and eat Caribbean food all the time. You can see this by looking at my previous orders. It was incredibly insulting to tell a customer they are unable to distinguish rotten food from a strong spicy smell. I had to order food from another restaurant immediately after and binned the food.

I tried requesting a refund but was told that not everyone enjoys that type of food?!! It’s inexcusable that i paid for an item I had to bin immediately. I am completely appalled by paying for something that was not even just inedible but should not have been allowed to even be delivered.

I have never in my life had food so clearly gone off delivered to me. Any help on resolving this matter to get a refund will be very much appreciated.

Suggested solution:

Refund me please. Compensation for even sending out food and not resolving the issue with me and denying there was even an issue would be ideal too but highly improbable considering they were so unhelpful and uninterested in supporting a loyal customer.
