Just Eat complaint: Meal deal incomplete and will not refund

My complaint:

Saturday 12th Aug – Approx 12.40pm – Ordered x 2 melon bags as part of x2 meal deals from Pettman Crescent, London MacDonalds using Justeat

Melon bags did not arrive and I sent in a complaint re this straight away. Advised they will need to look into this

At 8.48pm received an email saying having looked into it they cannot refund me the x2 £0.99 back

Asked numerous times why when it’s obvious this was missed as is same item not put in meals and after numerous emails from what seems like robots rather than humans – as repeat the same lines, I am still being told they cannot refund and it’s not in line with their policy!!!!

My last email asked whom I could escalate this too but as said in robotic form they did not reply to this info request but just again said they were unable to overturn the decision

We are talking about them having not delivered two melon bags!!!! I am sooo dissapointed at the ridiculousness of this outcome and at the bad customer service.

They are unworthy if they think they can deliver incomplete orders and not need to do anything about it

I phoned the MacDonalds in question and of course they said I have to get the refund from Justeat…. Of course I do ……

Refund my £1.98
