My complaint:

I set up a reservation For August 31st around 5 days in advance so I called the number for the reservation on my way up here to make sure that everything was fine they said everything was fine set on their end they said to call the front desk and to make sure with them as deal with them as well I tried calling the front desk multiple times and no one picked up so I called them reservation again and they also ed a second time that everything was fine. When I get here to Columbiana The lady at the front desk told me that there was no reservation in my name is that my name and not only that that the room that I did reserve was not available and the only one that they had left was either 1 that was more expensive or a downgrade from the room that I already reserved And I would have to wait 30 minutes For it to be cleaned. I called reservations again they gave me the ation number and everything and said that the reservation was still active on their side when I attempted to give the lady at the front desk the ation number she told me that that number doesn’t matter that I’m not in the computer Now we’ll either have to get the more expensive room or the downgrade if I wanted to stay. The worst part is that the weekly rate for the downgraded twin size was only $6 less than the Queen size that l originally reserved. I don’t know what sort of shady business practice that was but I do not recommend in town suites to anyone

Suggested solution:

I do a good bit of out of town work and traveling so sometimes mix ups happen. What truly helps is when you have someone at the front desk that understands the predicament that you're in and and tries to at least help or go out of their way to accommodate the customer Especially when the mistake was not on the customer's end. They made no attempt they even tried to put me in a room that was it was close to or even better than what I reserved at least for the moment while They try and find a room like the one I reserved. They did not even care about the fact that I had proof of my reservation They just completely ignored it And when you're already far from home without that many options this makes the situation Very stressful
