My complaint:
I placed an order today through the Fred Meyer website. There were a total of 28 items on this order with substitutions for 6 items permitted. I received text messages from the shopper concerning 5 items being out of stock. I then received ation that shopper ‘Willie D’ had checked out. An hour later my order still had not arrived (nor did it ever). I went to the Fred Meyer website and the order reflected the following details: 1) ALL 28 items I ordered had been marked as ‘out of stock’ which when I checked with the store, they ed this was a lie 2) The 6 items I allowed for substitutions had items selected that were not on my order, nor did they make any substitution sense what-so-ever 3) The ‘delivered to’ address was not mine but that of a business which was not associated with my account in anyway. Clearly their shopper did their own shopping using my credit card
Suggested solution:
I contacted instacart and they 'resolved' my complaint by adding to my account that that shopper would not receive any of my future orders and giving me a $10 courtesy credit. I want that shopper held accountable for theft.
