My complaint:
Placed a grocery order the night before delivery day, opted for 8-10 a.m. timeframe. Order was continually pushed back. Upon contacting Customer Service chat apprising them that the delays would make me miss a medical appointment, I was offered only a waived delivery fee. Instacart does not honor their business agreements regarding delivery times, and are wholly insensitive to their patrons’ concerns. They are not worth the money or time invested in waiting for orders that are delayed for hours.
Suggested solution:
I told Customer Support that a credit should be applied to the order which was so terribly delayed, resulting in me missing a medical appointment. I was offered only a waived delivery fee, which fails miserably as compensation.
