My complaint:
We have never used a service before but had trust disbursement and wanted to be sure it was done right. We dropped off the documents and were assured it was a simple filing. We heard nothing from them for weeks, so I called on the Friday before tax day and was told no problem, we’ll have it for you Sunday . On Tuesday the 18th I got a call from Naomi Nixon asking for more documents! I emailed them immediately. By the end of tax deadline day I called wanting to know the status – at this point we don’t know if we owe or anything. No answer, left a message asking for a call back, nothing. I finally called the 19th after lunch and was told Stephanie – who we’ve never spoken to – was working on it but she’s really busy, and some attempt to calm me down with talk about disaster extensions. I am livid that not only were our taxes not filed on time but I still have no idea what is happening with them.
Suggested solution:
I want my taxes done accurately and submitted. I've never been late in my life and I'm 60! I want a discount for poor performance and an apology. I want them responsible for any penalties or fines incurred. I want them to not take on business they are not equipped to handle.
