My complaint:
I bought an HP printer in late November 2020. I have just cnacelled my InstantiNk service as I am so dissatisfied with it. The cartridges in my new printer ran out within a day or two and I had to wait nearly two weeks to receive my first delivery of InstantInk. As I need to use the printer a lot immediately (the reason I bought it!) I had no alternative but to buy other HP cartridges from PCWorld. I then received messages reprimanding me for buying and installing these! When I complained about the service to Instantink it was ignored. Now I have cancelled the service I find that the cartridges installed have ben disabled so I didn’t receive any significant benefit from the introductory three month offer. I am now also being charged an extortionate price for the printing I did largely with cartridges that I had to pay for myself. I shall never recommend Instantink to others and will not be buying another HP printer as you deceive your customers with your offers and promises and treat them with disrespect.
Suggested solution:
1) Review the way InstantInk operates and change it so that it is fair to your customers. 2) Reimburse me for the cost of the cartridges that I had to buy during my free trial period as a result of your failure to supply cartridges as promised. 3) Provide reasonable sized cartridges in your new printers so that they don't run out of ink within days of buying them and before you supply any InstantInk.
