Hopper complaint: Changing a flight from Cali to Montréal

My complaint:

They have charged me so far 1500 USD for a ticket retuning to Montréal, willing to charge me an extra 480USD for returning to Montréal.

While having airports close, and me having Covid.

Not even one person is able to follow up my situation, not even an answer, not even allow me to bring back my luggage that I had payed already for and after all of that they want to keep charging me for changing my flights and be able to go back. They blamed every other company and when I called the companies they are all willing to help me out.

But how are they going to know if I have get an answer from almos 20 different people, some making jokes like callin my city California, others saying that I was returning to a different destination and now saying that they are not even sure of how much the companies will charge me.

Is this correct?? Is a company allow to play and spend their clients money this way ? Is this even possible now days ?

Or do we still have rights?

Suggested solution:

Giving me my money back, having just one person in charge of my situation, at least giving a phone call ??
