My complaint:
I have an original hive for over 10 years no problem. Occasionally it lost connection but switching it in and off always fixed this
I received an email offer an update to a new hub2 for 30£. I ordered this
I followed the instructions but it did not connect
I contacted hive.
Hive said they disconnected my old hive to connect the hive hub2.
Then I was. told the hub to was not compatible with my old thermostat or receiver
Hive tried to sell my new ones
When I declined and asked got my old hive to be reconnected I was told sorry.
Then i was offered new receiver , hub2 and thermostat. But no email was sent ing this
Now my hive doesn’t connect. I spoke to a helpful lady on the chat who I appears to have connected my hub again.
I am on holiday now as I cannot switch it off and on again
The app does not show my system any more
This whole process has seemed like a scam apart from the lady on chat Busia
I have returned the hub 2
It would be good if I was reconnected
