HelloFresh complaint: Cancelled and still charged

My complaint:

After my second order with hell fresh there were quite a few ingredients missing so I decided not to continue with the service, called them up and cancelled and thought it was done. Had a text around 1 week later from DPD for say my hello fresh box was due to be delivered that day. I called customer service for them to tel me they had no record of me calling so therefore I had to accept delivery. I explained I no longer wanted it and I would refuse delivery which I did. Hello fresh has recently text me to say they were passing this on to a debt collecting agency. I already told them I don’t want it so why would I pay. They went in to say that I was unable to speak with a Manager so couldn’t escalate any further, I was told to pay the £29.99 and then they would think about refunding me 50 percent of this. I am absolutely mortified by the customer service and over all service.

Suggested solution:

Cancelled when I asked them to and not charge me after it.
