My complaint:
The hamburgers that I purchased scanned incorrectly. When I told the associate she went back to the meat area and told me they had scanned correctly. I then insisted that she walk back with me. There was a clear sign indicating they were on sale. Rather than apologizing, she rudely took the $3 off. I then asked if they give an additional $1 off because they scanned incorrectly. I was told no by the store manager because I hadn’t left the store and had to come back. I found this entire incident extremely offensive. If you look at my shopping record, I spend a great deal of money at Hannaford and I really expect to be treated with a little appreciation.
Suggested solution:
I would expect an apology to the store manager and additional training for customer service.
