My complaint:
I bought a groupon and when i was about to receive service, I was told that I should pay an additional 100 usd, ie 200%. Evetually, I was cheated, as I was mislead about the cost of the service which according to merchant’s estimate was 3 times more, I was then cheated, because my vouchers was marked redeemed – but no service provided! Not my fault, not under my control, but Groupon said I have to be the one to contact the cheater and ask smth from them.
My second voucher with them is not marked redeemed, but I was not reimbursed the money to this date! So looks like I have been cheated again, but by Groupon staff? Very poor level of service or rather attitude towards people, who prefer to buy things at discount, as they cannot afford the full price. It is a discrimination on social status, which not accepted in the united states!
I look asked Groupon for: 1) reimbursement of one of the vouchers; 2) investigation as to a) why at the arrival the price increased 3 times; b) why my voucher was unlawfully redeemed; c) punishment of the merchant for cheating clients.
Otherwise, it looks like groupon encourages cheating by the the merchants of less privileged people.
