My complaint:
We purchased the following two Groupon Vouchers
3 night stay at Netley Hall Holiday Cottages which we booked on 8th December to stay 12th to 15th February 2021 the country then went into lockdown so we were unable to go. We have tried on numerous occasions to contact the merchant via telephone and email we have also emailed Groupon twice who want proof we didn’t go we cant get proof as we cant get hold of the merchant but wouldn’t have been able to go anyway due to lockdown.
The other voucher is for 3 night stay at Glan Aber Hotel we emailed the merchant who said we need to get a refund from Groupon as due to the uncertainty they will not be extending the vouchers. We sent Groupon this proof and they didn’t read it they just replied and asked for proof again.
Suggested solution:
by giving us a refund on both vouchers
