My complaint:
I filed my 2021 income taxes with Turbo Tax. I mistakenly put the wrong account number to receive the refund to my bank electronically. I was told to contact Tax Products Group (TPG) who appears to be connected with Santa Barbara Tax Group (SBTG) who is suppose to facilitate mailing the refund check. I was told on 3 different occasions that my check was mailed and I still have not received. Later, I learned that Green Dot somehow is involved. After countless phone calls where I receive the same lies about the check in the mail. The last call resulted in them stepping their game up. By that I mean, Sonia Torres, reported to be a supervisor reportedly sent the check via FedEx. Ms. Torres even sent me a screen shot if the FedEx tracking number. However, I noticed it never actually left Arcadia, CA station which is near where Green Dot is located. What occurred is that the anticipated delivery date FedEx could not locate the package and I cannot get anyone on the phone to follow-up nor has Sonia Torres responded to my email.
Suggested solution:
They should send me my tax refund check in the amount $6,123.00 as soon as possible and should not be able to receive tax refunds via Turbo Tax that have been rejected by IRS.
