My complaint:

Greendot card received a charge for the amount $77.99 from Digital River USA corp.
On my account and then refunded it back In minutes as of 09/17/2023. I finally was able to speak to a live person because the transaction made my account negative. Greendot representative charged a penny and deposited back today and I could see it in real time. I spoke to the manager and let her know that my account has been in the negative for a week and they stated due to an error in their system
and it will take up to 2 days before I see a positive on my account from a bank. The manager hung up on me and I kave never in my life seen a bank keep a customer account negative for a week. That’s disturbing to me and to hang up in my face! I’m totally outdone.

Suggested solution:

Manager hung up in my face and my account is still negative and part of my paycheck goes to this company and I get charged a monthly fee of $7.95 having my account negative for a week is outrageous and the person who hung up needs to be fired because I have never seen a bank keep your account negative due to a glitch in the system and need to refund all my monthly charges back to me because they could be sued for fraudulent charges when it should have never happened at all.
