My complaint:

purchased card on 1222 tried several times to activate without success
Finally called remained on hold for almost an hour. Received reference for refund on defective card. Followed instructions emailed 4 times information requested. After another 10 called was on hold for 2hrs plus Finally had a real person that said info was received. Call was dropped total time was 2hr and 15mins still no help. Revisit location purchased no help either. Drafted another email still no answer
I feel like I’ve just gave them $250. I will never see again . In the interim of all of this I also received a permanent card from GreenDot. And just wanted to transfer to new card. Still haven’t received any updates. Hopeless in Homosassa

after sending reference requested 4 times, now 5 times, and several hours on hold and my call was dropped, not sure if I no just so frustrated with GreenDot period. I believe any customer care service should certainly not take over 2 hrs with no SUCCESS .that was they longest I've ever waited on hold times 2. No excuse for such poor customer service with a representative I was struggling to understand and hear.
