My complaint:

I applied for a green dot card and was sent a gold colored card 4143970239626736 exp:0823 codes 6736 210 on back of card (photo enclosed) $820 dollars was deposited into the account. A few days later I received a green colored card in the mail, card 4143980352829223 exp:0924 code 936 on the back(photo attached). When trying to withdraw some funds, a window popped up informing me that the account has been closed. After several phone calls to customer service, I was told that my complaint would be forwarded to the corporate office and someone from there would call me back in 3 business days. After waiting a week for a return call, I called back, but the phone was never answered after I was on the phone for an hour.

After reading complaints from other people having their accounts closed and not being able to withdraw the funds, I am assuming this is how Green Dot conducts their business, knowing it would cost more to hire an attorney to fight Green Dot for the money that they have in their account.
So I am contacting for assistance. To resolve this matter, I am requesting that Green Dot return all the money in my account to me. I do not want to gift card, I do not want a visa card, I want them to send me a certified bank check in the amount of money in my account. I will provide the address of where I want the check sent to on the following pages
