My complaint:
Good Afternoon,
My son Jerry Daniels is an employee at your route 85 Goodwill location. Jerry loves his job working and serving the community as a dock attendant at this location. For over the past couple of months my son has been expressing concern with a manager there by the name Amy. Jerry says everyday she seems to be targeting him and also harassing him on the job and it seems to be escalating with her interactions with him as an employee. Jerry shared with me today 152023 that he over heard Amy talking to other fellow coworkers saying that she’s making him her SLAVE. That comment took my son off guard to hear this coming from an example of leadership that your company has hired to represent the community. Workplace harassment should not be tolerated by any means especially by a corporation such as goodwill industries. My son says its almost like she wants to provoke him and that’s not a professional approach to be there overseeing and managing employees that is trying to over come and to create dreams as workers for your company. My name is Sherri Ames and I myself is a community advocate and leader here in Frederick MD. I know for myself the attitude and this Workplace harassment should not be at any level in your stores. Please reach out to me as I have already contacted a head CEO about this torment. I will continue to reach out until something is done on behalf of my son and maybe there’s others in this store that she maybe harassment. My direct line is 240.457.0157.
