My complaint is on Go2Bank. I had an account with Go2Bank, where my paycheck was directly deposited to.

I checked my account and I saw a charge to The City of Hemet Water for $623.73 dated September 30,, 2022. I did not recognize this charge, so I called in and filed a Dispute with the Go2 Bank Dispute Department Dispute 107595189. The next day my wife explained that she had made that payment to the City of Hemet Water Utility .I then called Go2Bank and CANCELED(on October 06, 2022) my Dispute for the City of Hemet Water for $623.73, that I had previously filed.

On October 19, 2022 a notice from The City of Hemet Water, saying, if I did not pay $623.73 by 5:00 p.m., my water would be shut off. If my water is SHUT OFF, to have it turned back on I would have to pay $623.73 (past bill) plus $25.00 (return check charge, plus $250.00 (deposit fee) totalling $898.73.

I immediately contacted the water company to find out what the problem was. The water company told me that Go2Bank had TAKEN BACK the payment for $623.73. (CHARGEBACK ID CONFIRMATION 2687820848) I got from the water company.

I then called Go2Bank and asked about the $623.73 payment, explained that I had called and canceled my Dispute I had made for the $623.73 payment, and I told the bank what happened, that it was a good charge.
The Bank canceled the Dispute 107595189 the first dispute filed saying the claim was denied. Go2Bank told me that my $623.73 dollars would be back in my account within 24 hours.

The water company was understanding of my situation, and allowed time for the money to be returned back to my account, they extended the time for shut-off from Friday to Monday.

I waited 24 hours, no money was deposited back to my account. I called Go2Bank back again.

THE PROBLEM i HAVE WHEN CALLING GO2 BANK;
Everytime I call Go2Bank. I have to talk to a different person, I have to verify my account then explain my situation, (what happened with my $623.73 dollars. Then regular customer service transfers me to the Dispute Department and I have to explain again. IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING.

When the Dispute Department checked on the Dispute that I had filed on 110622, (close to that date) they told me my DISPUTE was closed. OK that was fine, but “where was my money”?

MAJOR PROBLEM;
The Dispute Department said they did not TAKE BACK my payment of $623.73, to contact the business (Hemet Water Company) because they have my money.

On 102222 I went down to the City of Hemet Water, told them what Go2Bank said, that the water company still had my money. The supervisor of the Water Company gave me a print out of the transaction of Go2Bank RECALLING my payment of $623.73, or a (CHARGE-BACK CONFIRMATION 2687820848) .

I then called Go2Bank again. I gave them the transaction number of the money being CHARGED-BACK. Go2Bank refused to check the transaction number. Go2Bank insists that they did not take back the money, and my DISPUTE has been CLOSED.

No agent at Go2 Bank understands that the money was CHARGED-BACK by Go2Bank, but it was never deposited back to my account. The $623.73 has vanished, I don’t have it, the water company doesn’t have it, and Go2Bank says they don’t have it.

I filed another Dispute 109563901 with Go2Bank on October 26, 2022, to find my money. So far the Dispute Department is still working on it.During this month I had to pay the $623.73 plus the $25.00 return check charge, but where’s my money. $623.73 is a lot of money to lose.

I have called Go2 Bank everyday, since 11262022, to see if they have found my money yet. Once I even got in contact with the CEO of Go2 Bank, I thought I would finally see some results. He told me he would call me back in an hour, he had his team working on it. Noone called me back. On 11102022 I called Go2 Bank Dispute Department and a representative told me that Go2Bank did do the CHARGE-BACK and had my money, but I would have to wait 45 days from October 26, 2022, for the dispute to go through the channels then my money would be returned. I asked them about some credit for the amount of the money they are holding. The agent told me they could not loan to me or extend credit, because this was not the original dispute I had filed.

“WHAT A CROCK OF BULLSHIT!

I keep calling Go2 Bank, now no one can find the CHARGE-BACK. Go2 Bank keeps telling me that the DISPUTE is still under investigation, it’s been 45 days since they did the CHARGE-BACK, and 37 days since I filed the dispute on October 26, 2022. Go2 Bank says they don’t have record of a CHARGE-BACK that the water company still has my money.

I still have not received any money, and am tired of waiting. Is there anything that you can do to get my money sooner.
THIS IS UNHEARD OF. What am I supposed to do when Go2 Bank does a CHARGE-BACK, but does not have a record of the CHARGE_BACK, how do I get my money back.
