My complaint:
Twice in the last two weeks i have shopped at the above ref Giant Food store,Two different cashiers made multiple errors while checking me out. The first cashier appeared VERY confused and would not ask for help with even the simplest transaction, The second cashier struggled to apply many of the coupons i gave her (AND did not tell me but just did not apply them at all!) Also she rang up my produce incorrectly. Each time i had to go to customer service to have the errors corrected, which in each case was more then $20.00. I have shopped at Giant for many many years and have never had the issues i have had lately. i really like Giant but if things aren’t corrected i will be forced shop elsewhere.
Suggested solution:
The hiring process needs to be MUCH better. Giant needs to screen employees to a higher standard. In the past, Giant employees have been courteous, helpful and professional.
