General Electric complaint: Warranty repairs delayed 4 weeks due to GE mistakes

My complaint:

Our 5 month old Cafe Refridgerator stopped cooling on August 8th. Service came out and determined that the compressor needed to be replaced. Once part was delivered to our home, we called and made an appointment for it to be repaired. The appointment was made for August 25th. No service tech showed up on the 25th – when we called, we were told that they cancelled the service because there were multiple service calls made for that appliance – some for October dates. We did NOT make any of those – they did. After long waits on hold and much arguing, they agreed to come out to repair on 96. The tech came out and told us that the job requires 2 techs and therefore, he can not repair our fridge. Now they have rescheduled for 919 – another 2 weeks. We will be without a refridgerator for 6 12 weeks – this is if they actually show up and fix it on the 19th.

Suggested solution:

We need to have our refridgerator fixed and also be compensated for taking 3 days off of work to be home for the repairs.
