Good Morning All,
I am a long time customer of Homedepot and a victim of Hurricane Ida. Homedepot was a positive factor in restoring my home after major damages done by the storm. My basement was demolished and I needed brand new appliances throughout the home behind the storm’s impact.
I purchased a great deal of materials and appliances. One of the appliances I purchased was a GE 4.5 CU FT High Efficiency White Top Load Washer with Agitator for $628.00 along with the hoses for $29.99. Once my basement was finished the washer was ready to be used in April of 2022 to be used. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I contacted Homedepot and they advised me to contact GE due to the fact I had a warranty on the product. I contacted them multiple times and a technician finally came. The machine worked for maybe a month after the technician from GE came to my home. I called GE customer service on 6172022 after yet another appointment was cancelled due to them ordering parts for a brand new machine. I can’t afford to go to the laundromat especially when I have a brand new machine in my home from Homedepot.
That was the purpose of purchasing the machine to eliminate the laundromat out of the equation. I spent thousands of dollars on appliances and I feel they should work. I am seeking help to resolve this issue.
