My complaint:

An 8,000 Btu Window Air conditioner was purchased in April 2021 from Lowe’s in Millville, NJ The unit was placed into service in May 2021 as cooling for a short-term rental unit which consists of about 325 square Feet, We have had several complaints about the air conditioner freezing up, thus providing no cooling. We have thawed it out several times with the same freezing result, when placed into use. Since this happened during rental high season, we stood to lose much money, if it continued. We replaced the unit. A call was placed to Lowe’s. They stated that there was only a 30 return policy. The return policy expired before the unit was placed into service. We have the unit and can transport it to a specified local location.

Suggested solution:

The unit, travel and installation and removal cost $425. We wish to be reimbursed for that amount.
