My complaint:
Purchased GE Window Air Conditioner in 2020 from Home Depot, worked for 1.5 seasons. Extremely heavy unit for a 79 year old person to carry up and down from a second floor residence. Removed the unit and took to the street where someone obviously took it for parts. Paid over $400.00 for this unit that was used only occasionally during July and August. There was no practical way to have this unit serviced and repaired, and so, I decided to just dump it.
Suggested solution:
I would expect compensation from GE to cover the cost of this unit as we are not in a position to lose over $400.00.
