My complaint:
Me and my husband stayed last night 5322 to celebrate my birthday and had an awful experience we didn’t enjoy our stay and couldn’t wait to get back home which is something we have never experienced before and iv never had to complain in any other hotel we’ve stayed in before it’s absolutely spoiled my birthday for the cost of 374 is shocking firstly on reception there was no guidance about our stay was told to ring 500 to book the pool and no other time but 6PM for dinner apparently the fairway grill was fully booked all night so we didn’t then have any time to use to spa facilities we had a shoulder massage and had to get back to go for dinner that was the only thing informed to us ,
arriving in the room the heating didn’t work the room was freezing we had to use the plug in heater then it would to warm and turn it off and so on all night I had washed my hair thag morning and couldn’t get a shower to get ready for dinner as there was no shower cap and was no other way of a getting shower without getting my hair wet so I then thought I will get a bath that also wasn’t a option as there was no plug ! There was no handwash in the room. The carpets had massive stains on them the room as a whole was not to a satisfactory level for the price that is charged

Then all night there was young people making loads of noise till 4 am slamming doors so loud that we hadn’t sleep at all iv never been to a hotel and not been able to have the break you expect when paying 374 pound as we didn’t get time to use the spa facilities on the night so we planned to use them the next morning as the lack of sleep we had we was too tired and not rested to get up and use the spa facilities! To then walk outside or enjoy a coffee and a nice view to have young immature people hanging out of windows being Loud and inappropriate was when we decided to eat breakfast and leave early we nearly left at 3am to go home that’s how bad of an experience we had the only nice thing was the girl who did my massage besides that everything else was a massive disappointment we didn’t understand why staff didn’t tell the people making so much noise for such a long time in the middle of the night they was left to their own devices. We feel what should of been a nice break and should of had a good rest actually turned out the opposite we both came home absolutely deflated and tired due to all of the situations and was a massive shock as we have never experienced anything like this before and completely wrecked our weekend
Suggested solution:
A refund of what we paid minus the massage treatments which was the only thing that was good
