My complaint:
I was in the check out line and was putting my items on the conveyor belt. The cashier was finishing up with the customer in front of me. Cashier was just waiting on their payment card to clear. There was a person behind me that just had 3 small items and I told her to go ahead of me. The cashier turns to look at me and I ask her to get this person next before me (because she had already pulled my items up to start checking.) The cashier loudly responded to me saying I’M ALREADY CHECKING SOMEBODY OUT!. The person with the 3 items looked totally stunned and told me that was ok she would wait. I told her no to go ahead of me, it was OK. The cashier picked up my stuff and started to scan, I said again please get her next. She did and finished up the sale and then started scanning my items. She never one time ask me how I was doing ( Like every cashier always at that store does) She hastily scanned my times and gave me my total. (Never did ask for my MVP Card) I held my card out for her to scan, but she took it out of my hand and scanned it then stated Is this cash or card? I handed her cash and she gave me back and change. She never thanked me and turn to start checking out the next customer. She still had some of my items in a bag on the bag stand and I ask her if I could have the rest of my stuff. She just handed me stuff and started checking the next customer. This was a middle age employee that you would think could be a little courteous to people. All the years I have shopped at this store have I been treated so rude.
Suggested solution:
Give employee a write up for being rude to customers and put her in some type of training. She is giving this store a bad name and will cause returning customers to shop else where.
