My complaint:
I was in the Sterling Va Food Lion off Sterling Blvd on 913 and noticed a customer not wearing a mask. It’s a state order that Mask are to be worn in business. I advised one of the workers in the store and all she did was walk in the back to the warehouse. I mention it to the cash register girl and advised her I wanted to speak to a manager. Which she did call, when the manager came and I advised him about this person not wearing a mask and it was a state order he stated there wasn’t anything he can do. I advised him that I went to another store to shop and didn’t have a mask and they kicked me out. This is a safety caution and a state order that Mask must be worn. It seems like this manager didn’t care and didn’t take my concern serious. I have contacted our local Health Department and advised them of this situation and they will be following up on this matter.
Suggested solution:
If someone comes into a store without a mask than to make them leave. If they touch something on the shelf and put it back on the shelf that leave everything they have touched or breath on for other shoppers to pick up and purchase.
