My complaint:
I’m 70 yrs old. Disabled Vietnam Veteran, I came into the the went to customer service as I usually do an buy my Megaball, Powerball an Carolina Cash 5 tickets,a young lady named Jessica came over to help me I was wearing mask 😷 for protection, handed her my ticket and slip’s to play cash5Megaball she took them started to ring them up thru lottery machine and she turns to me and asked if I new the tickets are $105 and $100 , I said yes they are ,I filled them out that way and that’s what I want, she became indignant with me because of the way I said it, her body language start getting defensive about it, shaking her fingers at me, started telling me about her husband and daddy and what they would do to me for speaking to her like that, she’s very masculine in the way she became dangerous to me inflaming the situation said she would fight me,I did at that moment say a few bad words because she’s threatening me with violence! Then she threw the tickets at me and said I’m not giving you a dam thing and told me to go to the next food lion in Cameron, I had a cash 5 ticket she had ring up for $15 winner I said I don’t want the money give me my ticket,then she took $15 out of the register and slung it at me thru the Plexi glass hold,I and other customers just stood in amazement, I descalated the situation by exiting the store cause she continues to bully me, I told her she a problem with black men and I understand why we as black men don’t like that masculine behavior and left with a few choice word’s. Forgive me for that, I pray 🙏 to God to give me the strength to be around people who incited customer’s because they can.She comes off as a man bully! Check your video between 7:15pm and 7:30pm you’ll see her throw my money and receipts at me and talked over me to help other customers. I walk with a cane because I’m missing my leg from Veitnam, I don’t move as fast as the others . Thanks for listening. Fire her after you watch her actions with other’s ,it will happen, remember dollar general fights with customers this is what she’s going to bring on your lovely stores.
Suggested solution:
Watch her closely she going to endangered the rest of your employees. A young man working the basket came outside an talk to me about going in the Air Force and sir Thank You for your Service and I said no , Thank you for caring!
