My complaint:
I called yesterday and talked to a female representative regarding an option to limit losses should a stock price drop. She directed me to set up the stock as a trade and use the sell limit option versus directing me to the trade armor option to set up a stock loss option. This representative was supposed to be a trader. As a result of her advice, the stock sold which was not my intent. I am now facing short term taxes next year which is a substantial amount for me being a retiree. This is disgraceful for fidelity representatives not knowing how to give customers proper advise. I want this matter investigated and I expect a call from fidelity regarding this matter.
Suggested solution:
I want someone from Fidelity to get in touch with me.
