Famous Footwear complaint: inappropriate late fees

My complaint:

On May 29, 2022, I opened a Famous Footwear credit card in order to save $10 which I have regretted since. Late June 2022, I received a Statement in the amount of $71.98. On June 26, 2022, I went to my online banking for a payment of that amount to be paid to Famous FootwearComenity Capital Bank to be paid on July 14, 2022. In August 2022, I received another statement which had a balance of $104.07, which represents the original amount of $71.98 with a $37.00 late charge. At that point I called Famous FootwearComenity Bank which they told me payment hasn’t been received.

I filed a dispute at that point because my bank showed my original payment was received by the due date. They acknowledged that my payment was received by them, on July 19, 2022 even though my August 2022 statement has the $71.98 still outstanding. This is an ERROR on the bank’s side and not mine. Please help!

Bring my account to a $0 balance.
