My complaint:

I walked into the South Layton store, on September 27th, to return a Tracfone I bought two weeks earlier at another southside location. I had my receipt. The store employee told me I can’t return my phone at that location, but I had to return it to the location where I bought it—which was another inconvenient bus trip. On the Family Dollar website, the policy clearly states Merchandise purchased in stores can be returned to any Family Dollar Store within 30 days of purchase. So I was obviously given the wrong information.

Suggested solution:

Educate the manager and employees, at the South Layton store, about the return policy of products bought in thei stores.
