Family Dollar complaint: Sales associate absolutely rude

My complaint:

It started right as we went to check out first the woman was on the phone with somebody talking about a job at Walmart as a greeter I don’t know if she was trying to get a job there or what exactly it was so we put our stuff down and waited for about a minute or 2 she then told the person on the phone she had to go cause she was still at work, so she hung up with them never greeted us just said I can take you over here so we had to pick up all the things we just placed on the counter and move them to a different register she then rang me up and on the little window on the credit card pad where your suppose to see the price was not working. So when she finished ringing up the transaction and I paid there were 3 items I had purchased in a bin that was supposed to be on sale for 5 dollars I looked at my receipt and it said $9.00 So I informed her that she said there were basically in the wrong place I said ok and told her I didn’t want to take them I’d like to return them. At this point, it was about 9:51 she told me she could not refund me the money I would have to come back tomorrow because the system is shutting down and it would not allow her to do any returns just check people out. I asked her how is it the computer is off for returns but not to cash people out. she then she was rude to me and said you just have to come back with an attitude I asked for a phone number to call and her name she would not give me either so my cousin then intervened and was asking her name she then yelled her name at my cousin and told her to get out of the store. I have worked in customer service, retail, and closed stores her attitude was completely inappropriate. When closing down a store you cant just do certain transactions and for others you can not. I also know the store is not to close down till it is the exact time of closing which was 10:00 p.m when I walked out and watched everyone come out and lock the doors it was 9:58 p.m. This visit was unacceptable and I am not sure if I will never be going to this store again I am completely upset first there was the rudeness then there was the price being wrong then there was not being able to refund me my money, arguing with us and yelling at cousin to get out of the store. I will instead visit dollar general down the street and shop there. it’s unacceptable to go into a store with a happy attitude then come out in a very upset mood.

Suggested solution:

They need to have a talk with the woman about her attitude , being deceiving and about what good customer service skills are. I also think they should refund my money and my gas for having to drive back when it would have just taken a few seconds to return them right at that time.
