My complaint:

I understand that people have bad days and are very busy. I have worked in customer service for 15 years. Today was the first time I have ever felt So belittle by another person in my life. I went in to see if the store still had a box fan in stock because mine died and I can’t sleep without one. I same up on a worker that was unloaded boxes. I knew she was busy, I didn’t mean for her to drop everything she was doing and help me. All I asked was “do you know if you have fans by chance”. She was extreme rude! She yelled so that everyone in the store could hear “NO. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY FAN AND I AM UNLOADING A TRUCK AND I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO HELP YOU!”

I just left the store in tears. I’m sure it’s just a bad day for her, but she didn’t understand that my husband is injured right now and hasn’t worked in a month. And today was just the day that I was barely holding it together anyway.

This is not the first time I have had issues in this store. A few weeks ago I went in about 10 minutes til closing and she screamed TEN MINUTES as I walked by her. I grabbed what I needed (which was dog food) and checked out really fast and she followed me to the door and locked it behind me. There was still time left to be opened.

Like I said, maybe I’m catching her on a bad day, but as someone who works in customer service, I know that we can’t take our bad days out on our paying customers.

Suggested solution:

I’m not sure there is anything that can be done. I didn’t get her name.
