My complaint:
I placed an online order on 1262021 and was told it would arrive at my local store on 292021. (by the way that’s a long time frame) I received an email this morning saying my order was ready for pick up at my local store. Arrived at store and was told it’s currently on the truck that will arrive today at 2pm. I came back to the store at 3:30pm and the employee said he just started unloading the truck. I know it’s not his fault that items are late. I just know that I will never make any future purchases online or in store at Family Dollar. This experience has left a bad taste and I will not be a return customer.
Suggested solution:
It would have been nice to receive an email stating the correct time to pick up an order. Sending it out before the truck arrives at the store is misleading. Also try being more efficient and not having such a long wait time from order to pick up.
