My complaint:

I was fired from this particular location due to unprofessionalism from the store manager. I was trying to explain an incident that one of the customers had with me that morning to the SM when she walked in the door. The SM became very angry and very disrespectful. When she finally got around to talk to me…she became more disrespectful to me and started saying inappropriate things that had nothing to deal with the situation going on. I really liked working for Family Dollar as I await to see if my other job will open back up but I refuse to work in conditions that make me uncomfortable to talk to the SM or unprofessionalism on a disrespectful level. I understand in retail customer are right but the SM should be able to understand a complaint from employees with the ability to handle a situation without incident. I was treated unfairly and kicked out the job and barred off the premise.. Which is unfair treatment to a SM who has Anger management issues and unprofessional on a business level. Suggested solution:

Investigate and provide relief to the employees who has to work in such a toxic environment. We deserve respect as much as our customer do so that the employees can provide that store with better energy and a easy to shop and work in environment.
