My complaint:
I went into the store to look for cleaning supplies I noticed the particular item that I was looking for wasn’t available so I turned around to leave and as I got to the exit I am met with three Family Dollars employees accusing me of shoplifting I did not pick up anything nor touch anything but because I had my 3-month-old with me in a carriage they assumed that my Carriage was stuffed with merchandise therefore not allowing me to leave as they searched through my belongings which consists of just a carriage in front of a store full of customers I’ve never stolen from any store and nor do I have a history of stealing anything at all so to be accused of something like that with my child in front of customers was embarrassing maybe it was because I was black but that type of harassment has no place in this world my number is 413-381-7560 I hope that this matter can be with resolved without involving lawyers thank you and have a great day
Suggested solution:
The employees involved need to be taught proper lost management techniques and the ones involved need to be reprimanded
