My complaint:

I’m a contractor with SPAR FIELD SERVICES.While waiting for the Assistant Manager to sign off on my projects for the tasks assigned to me at 3454 Baker Road, Acworth, Georgia, Store 10480, when I was assaulted by a Project Manager for the Family Dollar store. I don’t know the woman by name, I’m sorry to say. I never did ask her many questions prior to the incident I’m detailing in this complaint.
While waiting at the cash register for the Assistant Manager to sign and scan the last LOA document for the completed tasks, the Project Manager came up to me with several plastic strips in her hand and said to me, You deserve 30 lashes and then she proceeded to hit my forearm with one of the plastic strips. I must admit that I was in a state of shock and did not say one word in acknowledgment of her actions. My only thought was to maintain my composure, get my paperwork completed by the Assistant Manager, and leave the store. After she didn’t invoke a response from me, she walked away. I couldn’t believe her actions towards me and honestly, as I composed this complaint I’m still in a state of disbelief. How can someone with seniority within a company address me this way is totally beyond me. I would never address someone I’ve known for years this way, which is actually very disrespectful and not normal in the slightest. I met this individual for the first time (10:30 AM-2:50 PMNovember 13th); so consequently, we were not friends. It is my understanding that we were individuals working to get tasks done in store 10480.

Suggested solution:

I’m not certain how a brand can employ individuals with white supremacy viewpoint and I personally think the employee should seek counseling on how to interact with a diverse community. No one should have to endure such harsh rhetoric from someone in an open setting or place of work. I’m emotionally distraught and I think this employee should not be allowed to work for a brand where all types of people purchase items from. To continue to employee someone who emotionally detached is simply horrendous.
