My complaint:
I was asked recently to put together our family reunion using Facebook and my account was closed without explanation (After my relatives became active posting things on the page).
I think there is confusion because I had a previous account and used a different spelling of my name (I teach Hebrew classes and wanted to use the transliteration of my name). And, FB wanted verification it was me, so I sent a photo but never heard back from them.
This is actually the third time this has happened and each time I received no response or explanation.
Facebook has my cell phone number, address, date of birth, and photos of me. What else can I do to prove I am who I am.
Suggested solution:
Facebook should accept my information and restore my account so we can continue our family reunion (Or Facebook can contact the people liking the reunion page. Some have my last name.
