My complaint:
My account which I use specifically for Marketplace was disabled because of a conversation with a potential buyer. They asked if I could deliver (mind you the listing clearly stated ‘pickup only’), and when I declined, they called me a ‘rude prk’ and I assume they filed a false report through Facebook. Within a couple of minutes, my account was disabled. Does Facebook just auto-disable accounts whenever a report is filed? Thanks to one troublemaker’s false report, I am being punished without any review of the situation or evidence. this is deplorable to say the least.
Suggested solution:
Reactivate the account in question immediately.
Really the user who reported should have THEIR account disabled for the abuse. Facebooks reporting system is a complete joke if they are just going to insta-disable accounts without any fair hearing whatsoever. This really is a classic case of “guilty until proven innocent, because bringing the innocent to trial would be unfair”.
