My complaint:

I am filing a formal complaint against Expedia regarding a refund that was promised but never received.
On Jan 21st, I spoke with an Expedia representative by phone regarding a canceled hotel booking. Following that conversation, I received a written ation from Expedia stating that a refund of $511.45 USD had been processed to the original form of payment. The email stated that the refund might take up to 90 business days to reflect on my credit card. I agreed to pay $245 to affect this cancelation.
Despite this, the refund has not been received—well beyond the stated timeframe. I have checked with my credit card issuer multiple times, and they that no such refund has been issued or is pending.
I have reached out to Expedia customer service on several occasions since then, but I have not received any meaningful assistance or resolution.
At this point, I am seeking the immediate return of the $511.45 USD plus the $245 for a total of $756.45. I request that this refund will be to my AMEX card. thank you.
