Evri complaint: They deliver(apparently)

My complaint:

TLDR: my parcels are being returned to sender after the first failed delivery attempt. EVRI claim they will make three.

I received three tracking emails for my items yesterday morning which I then used to setup a safe place for the parcels to be left.

When the courier attempted to deliver they instead chose to claim they were asked to return to sender. Since they did not speak to me they did not get that request. They also didn’t leave the parcels where instructed.

The proofs of delivery are attached, but are images of nothing descriptive of the location at all, they look like sheets of paper.

I have tried the web form to query but have only been told it’s too late nothing can be done. This was an only a couple hours after the delay ver attempt so I do not believe an investigation has been made at all.

I have tried to complain via the site but it only route me to the tracking system and says they are going back.

Suggested solution:

They should make a re delivery attempt and actually call the depot to get a full response as to what has happened.
