My complaint:
I sent a gift for a friend’s new baby, posted at a Post Office but given to Evri to deliver. The tracking info claimed that the parcel had been delivered, but the photo ‘proving’ delivery showed a location that is clearly not my friend’s flat – or anywhere near it. There seems to be no way to follow up with Evri – just a useless chatbot that cuts you off once the delivery photo has been shown and a phone line that also claims ‘your parcel has been delivered’. The Post Office claim that ‘we can do nothing because Evri are responsible’. Hopeless!
Suggested solution:
By refunding the postage cost plus the cost of the items they failed to deliver - plus a consideration for the time I have spent trying to get through to Evri to resolve this.
