Evri complaint: Missing package. Can’t contact Evri.

My complaint:

I sent a package via Evri on 18/12/2024.
– It was a return of a running vest to Osprey.
After a couple of weeks it became evident the package was missing/ delayed so on 13/01/2025 I raised a claim.
It said to allow 28 working days for a response, which I did.
It is now 25/02/2025 and I have received no update. No refund. Nothing.

It now transpires I can’t even contact Evri as the tracking number isn’t recognised on the phone system and the web chat says there is a technical error (for the last 5 days now).

I think it’s pretty awful that they have created a system wherein you can’t contact them in any other manner.

Think i’ll stick with Royal Mail going forward.
