My complaint:
A package was delivered a few days ago, but no attempt was made by the person doing so to let me know that it had been. It would have been obvious to him/her that I was at home as the garage was open with a radio on in it, and there were garden tools and a set of steps on the drive. I must have gone to the back of the house for a only few minutes because when I returned the package had been left in the garage but there was no sign of the person who had done that or of his/her vehicle. The door bell had not been rung nor the knocker used as my wife, who was in the house at the time, would have heard either of those if they had been.
I suggest you instruct your delivery personnel to attempt to make contact with recipients to let them know that something has been left for them, particularly when it is, as in this case, a small item which could easily not be noticed.
