Etsy complaint: Seller stating items dispatched from UK in fact dispatched from China

My complaint:

We bought some handles from a store on Etsy because it was a UK based business. The seller shipped the item (creating a Yodel tracking number) within 12 hours of the order. however, it took over a week for Yodel to receive the item. The seller just kept on saying he will get Yodel to update the tracking. I asked where it was dispatched from in the UK but they would not tell me. It was also clear from the messages that the sellers first language wasn’t English! When it eventually arrived 2 weeks later, the shipping labels on the package clearly show it had come to a freight forwarder (which is known for scam and unwanted parcels from China) near London heathrow Airport, for Yodel to then collect. On opening the box of handles the box was covered in packing tape with Chinese writing all of over it! I opened a complaint with Etsy stating the items were not dispatched from the UK as stated but Etsy closed the case stating: we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you as I can see that you have concern related to the shipping of the item that it has been shipped from china sometimes our seller do use drop shipping as they have the two different location to manufacture the product as the seller had provided you the item according to the description so we are unable to intervene in the case. In other words they don’t care that the seller is putting that the items are from the UK when in fact they aren’t!

Suggested solution:

Make the seller change items descriptions to accurately show where the items are dispatched from.
