Epic Games does not offer phone support. If someone else got into your account, start with the account recovery option on the Epic Games sign-in page and the help section on epicgames.com. Expect to be asked for proof that the account is yours: the original email address, the date you created the account, linked console or platform accounts (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam) and receipts or transaction IDs for V-Bucks or game purchases. Gather all of that before you open the ticket, because each missing detail usually means another round of back and forth. Once you are back in, enable two-factor authentication and change the password of the email account as well. Describe the timeline and the ticket numbers in your complaint here: other players who lost access the same way can back your case up with their own ticket references.

A ban or suspension usually comes with a reason shown when you try to sign in, or in an email from Epic. There is no separate appeals hotline: the appeal goes through the same support ticket route in the help section on epicgames.com, under account issues. Explain calmly what happened, quote the exact ban message and the date, and say what you think went wrong, for example a shared household, a compromised account or a chargeback you did not initiate. Keep it factual and short.

For games bought on the Epic Games Store, refunds are requested from the transaction history of your account on epicgames.com, and eligibility depends on how long ago you bought the game and how much you have played it. Fortnite cosmetics bought with V-Bucks have a separate in-game return option with a limited number of uses. If the purchase was made through a console store or a mobile app store, the refund request goes to that store, not to Epic. For unauthorized charges, contact your bank or card issuer as well, but be aware that a chargeback can lead to the account being locked until the dispute is sorted out.
