My complaint:
My Epic Games Account was stolen by a big Data Leak on Epic Games and the hacker sold my Account to a random person on black market in month Jun/Jule 2023.
I informed Epic Games Support about my Problemy that the an unauthorised Person changed my Email adress to ***** and changed the display name. The support proofed it and ed to me, that my account is showing unauthorised activity. They have sent me a ation link to my original email address stevemckeil@gmx.de to proof , that I still have access to my first email. It’s the same, that I have used, to create my epic games account and I could successfully the link.
I have never changed my email address and my display name was similar or the same like my email : My display name was recently changed by the unauthorised person too. In my browser there was still my Account ID saved and I have sent them even my Ip address and home address , from the device and location I have made several purchases inside my Epic Games Account from the last 3 years, added payment original receipts, bank statements with payment proofs, my real full name and birthdate for Id check and credit card information.
Last but not least I ed several linked gaming/partner Accounts , that were linked before to my main account and I told the support, that I still have access to all of them, but the unauthorized user deleted the linked accounts and my friend list. The proof of my original Email folder linked to my Ubisoft account from 16th of March is attached to this email.Even after all of that proofs, they refused me to give me my account back , where I have spent real money on it for Games and In-game Item purchases like for Fortnite with the reason, that I couldn’t proof my Identity
Suggested solution:
Giving me access to my original account
I still have access to my new account.
2nd option : Copying all free.and paid purchased Games to my new account irmen86@googlemail.com ( that email was also linked to my original one before)
