My complaint:

I joined as I’m recently single and I am finally ready to start dating again, you can’t message or use anything on the site unless you become a premium member which at the cheapest is £10£11 a month. I looked on there for a few hours and realised that it wasn’t the site for me. So they give you a 14 day cancellation period, there is no where on the site that gives you an option to cancel so you have to email them, after doing so they emailed back saying they had charged my card £65 as they’d sent me a ‘personal profile’ which is basically the information you had filled in at the beginning! The cancellation process did not to say ‘if you cancel we charge you’ and they did it without my knowledge or consent, I am appalled by the customer services also as they failed to resolve or offer any alternative. I wouldn’t have cancelled a £10 a month thing for £65 then and there!

Suggested solution:

Offer a refund or at least give me a choice to be a member again after wasting £65! Also they need to make it clearer when you cancel!
