My complaint:

I thought I was entering a 3 month subscription at $15.99 a month. Eharmony actually locked me into a year’s subscription with the subscription cost doubling after 3 months. Eharmony would not let me cancel my subscription within the first few days when it became obvious there were very few matches in my area in Queensland without hundreds of km travel.
Eharmony claim to spend more time finding suitable matches, however, half the profiles don’t actually have clear photos, they’re all fuzzy. I wish I had read product review where there a literally hundreds of people complaining about this. If you don’t pay they send debt collectors against you. Very, very disappointing, rubbish dating site and untransparent in what is expected of you as a customer.

Suggested solution:

Cancel my subscription and don't chase me for money. Complaints have been made to the ACCC and Federal Trade Commission. As well as 60 minutes. Disgusting company should not be allowed to advertise in Australia.
